Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and AwaPlay, Nigeria ("AwaPlay", "we", "us"). They cover your use of the AwaPlay WhatsApp number, the website awaplay.app, our games, and the AwaPlay Developer Platform (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Who can use AwaPlay

You must be at least 13 years old and old enough to use WhatsApp where you live. If you are under the age of majority, you need permission from a parent or guardian, including for any purchase.

2. Your account

Your AwaPlay account is linked to your WhatsApp number. Keep your phone and sign-in links private; links the bot sends you sign you in automatically. You are responsible for activity on your account. Use WhatsApp in line with WhatsApp's own terms.

3. Playing fairly

Do not cheat, exploit bugs, use bots or automation to play, harass or impersonate other players, choose offensive names or avatars, spam invites, or try to disrupt or access parts of the Service you are not allowed to. We may remove content, end games, or suspend accounts that break these rules.

4. WhatsApp messages

By messaging us you agree that we may send you WhatsApp messages related to the Service, such as game links, turn notifications and invites from friends. Reply STOP at any time to stop them, and START to resume.

5. Coins, items and payments

The games are free to play. We may offer virtual coins or items for purchase. Virtual items have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and are licensed to you rather than sold. Payments are processed by Paystack. Except where the law requires otherwise, purchases are final. Coins are not gambling: AwaPlay games do not let you win real money.

6. Third-party games

Some games on AwaPlay are made by other developers and use "Sign in with AwaPlay". Those developers are responsible for their games and their own terms. Developers using our platform must also follow our developer documentation and review guidelines.

7. Our content

The Service, including the AwaPlay name, lion logo, game artwork and software, belongs to AwaPlay or its licensors. You may use the Service for your personal, non-commercial enjoyment. Content you submit (such as your display name, avatar photo or feedback) remains yours, and you give us permission to use it to operate and improve the Service.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep AwaPlay running but cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. WhatsApp availability is controlled by Meta. We may change, add or remove games and features.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, AwaPlay is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.

10. Ending your use

You can stop using AwaPlay at any time and ask us to delete your data. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the law.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes will be handled by the courts of Nigeria, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim there.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If changes are significant we will let you know. Continuing to use the Service after changes means you accept them.
