# AwaPlay

> AwaPlay is a games platform built on WhatsApp, made in Nigeria. People message the AwaPlay WhatsApp number, pick a game, and play multiplayer games such as Ludo, Whot, Chess, Draughts, Ayo Olopon and 8 Ball Pool with friends, random opponents or the computer. Games open in the phone's browser from a link in the chat, so there is no app to download.

AwaPlay brings classic African games (Ludo, Whot, Ayo Olopon, Dara, Okwe) and global favourites (Chess, Draughts, Pool, Darts, word games) to the place people already chat. It runs on the official WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API). The bot signs players in, sends game links, lets them invite friends by sharing a contact, and messages them when it's their turn.
